China has allowed SMS-dialogues about sex

The Chinese authorities have announced that the intimate correspondence SMS-residents of the country will not be regarded as pornography, said Feb. 8 AFP referring to local media.
According to Chinese officials , conversations about sex can be a cause for prosecution only if someone complains to unwanted and offensive messages. Voluntary messaging intimate nature will not be a pretext for intervention by the authorities.
Chinese concern about the intimate correspondence was due to the fact that recently the authorities have tightened controls over pornography on the Internet and correspondence. Thus, for distributing pornography via SMS residents of the country could go to prison for a term of 5 to 10 days. However, as explained to the officials, these measures are aimed at combating those who are organizing mass mailing pornographic content, rather than censorship of personal correspondence Chinese.
According to the agency, in 2009 on charges of dissemination of pornography in China have arrested about 5400 people.
