China closes largest “school hackers”

Chinese police have dismantled a criminal group, which launched on the Internet a network of training professional hackers. To services of attackers approached more than 180 thousand users of the World Wide Web.

Internet portal called “Network Security Black Hawk”, organized by three residents of the province of Hubei, had been distributing a variety of illegal malware that used to cyber-attacks on computer networks around the world. In addition, the site conducted trainings and trained hackers were able to communicate with each other at a special forum. According to the Chinese police, the Black Hawk Safety Net has been more than 12 thousand paying subscribers, which are listed on the company’s account not less than seven million yuan, accounting for about one million dollars. Another 170 thousand people were free subscribers.

As a result of the police operation all the organizers of this criminal business were arrested. Also seized nine servers, the company, five computers and one car. The bills attackers were frozen 1.7 million yuan, or 250 thousand dollars.

Recall Chinese hackers have become world renowned after the episode with Google, when the company threatened to do to leave China because of violations of its intellectual property. But China has strongly denied its involvement in the incident and claims that can not be reconciled with the hacking, the website notes the newspaper Vedomosti.
