GM returned to full control over Opel

The U.S. carmaker General Motors is fully settled in Berlin on an emergency loan for Opel in the amount of 1,5 billion euros and regained control of the German car manufacturer.

Recall that the state assistance was provided by Opel in June this year, before GM filed a petition in bankruptcy in the United States. Under the provision of bridge loans General Motors is temporarily lost control of Opel, passing the 65% stake in the specially created for this trust.
