Google takes care of the deaf

Google has chosen to take care of impaired visitors video service YouTube.

Shortly YouTube videos will be accompanied by automatic subtitles. Initially they will be in English and will appear in 13 channels, including National Geographic and Columbia.

Currently, on YouTube there is a service that allows you to create subtitles manually, but the authors use it infrequently video. New technology combines speech recognition with the existing system for creating subtitles, created by Ken Harenstinom, software engineers who are deaf.
