In «live journal» earned instant messaging LiveJournal Messenger.
The new service was developed jointly by Microsoft and the SUP. Internet-pager is built on the basis of Windows Live platform and requires no local installation on your computer. To operate the system just to activate it in your account, after which the messenger will be available on any page «Living magazine».
LiveJournal Messenger makes it possible not only to exchange instant messages, and receive notifications from LJ. To connect Internet-pager need an account Microsoft Live ID. However, for users «Living magazine» the process of obtaining the maximum simplified: by default, it coincides with the mailbox in LiveJournal – imya_zhurnala@livejournal.com.
It is expected that in future also be produced locally installed version of LiveJournal Messenger. With its help bloggers will be able to learn about new listings or comments without going to the site, post a note from the Internet-pager, read news, etc.
