U.S. scientists have found that lactic bacteria not only improves digestion, but also help to combat chronic stress.
The study was conducted on 35 patients suffering from chronic fatigue syndrome. For several weeks they received yogurt containing the bacterium Lactobacillus casei. At the same time, people from the control group drank yogurt with placebo.
It turns out that bioyogurt not only greatly increased the population of digestive bacteria in the intestine, but withdrew the symptoms of anxiety and fatigue. Now scientists are trying to clarify the mechanism of action of bacteria in the human psyche.
